Space Defense 2D combines space tower defense, orbital defense and resource management in a browser game. Buy orbital lanes, tap empty orbit slots, then launch ships from the planet into those positions; deeper orbits add capacity and firing angles. The opening revolves around asteroids, meteors and drops: metal, energy, parts, shells, missiles and gear all feed the economy. Mid-game pirates, merchants and raiders enter the field. They can steal loot, escape to raise future threat, or discover the planet and switch into a direct attack. Scavenger ships act as logistics units for collecting and selling cargo. Commerce upgrades increase sale value, tech upgrades improve range, damage and hull durability, while repair timing decides whether your orbital defense survives late pressure.
