About this game
Match RPG 2D is a battle match-3 / puzzle RPG prototype. Tap-swap or drag icons on a 6×6 board: swords and fire damage the boss, shields absorb retaliation, hearts heal, and mana fuels burst attacks. The polished prototype adds boss, HP and mana progress bars plus a real fail state, so ignoring defense and healing can get the hero defeated. It tests a direct combat loop where every match changes battle stats instead of attaching RPG dressing to a generic puzzle board.
How to play
- Tap one icon then a neighbor, or drag into a neighboring cell to swap
- Match three or more to trigger combat effects
- Swords and fire damage the boss; shields and hearts keep you alive
- Build mana for bonus burst damage
- Defeat the boss before moves run out
